Now's the time to head to the new SethHarwood.com

What questions should we start out asking on the FORUMS?

So this is the first time I'll have a place for comments or forums. Pretty exciting, no? What questions have you guys been dying to ask or get started with one another as discussions?

Hmmm - lots of things, but -

Recently you mentioned you were thinking about a podcasting course for authors at the college where you are working. I think your credibility as a creative writing teacher, published author and successful podcaster puts you in a very good position to offer that course and I would love to take it. But - getting back and forth to the Bay Area for it while working is just not possible. Is there any chance you might also consider some form of online presentation? I'd say a book - but frankly, there are too many books about podcasting right now, and frankly, none of them have the crdibility or style you can put together. I just don't think another book would be able to stand out in the market - and besides, we need you writing your short stories and Palms series.

So - what do you think? A little off track perhaps for the Palms Family, but I think a lot of us "early adopters" are probably considering writing/podcasters anyway....

Mike, This is a really interesting idea! I like it a lot. AND one of the schools I teach at is getting pretty heavily into online courses. Wouldn't it be cool if I could set this up as an ONLINE course!! I think it really would. Course, I'd have to plan the class and make a formal proposal, but this could be a great idea! That way it'd be open to people from anywhere! No matter where they're located! We could get a pretty good enrollment, don't cha think?
Thanks for the suggestion... more to come.

If you can get them to do it - I'll join it! And with a little promotion with bumpers on the various podcasts you frequent... Geeze this one could really go over the top.

I like it!

honestly Seth i've been kicking around the idea of pod casting for a while and of writing in general for years...My main problem is while I can think of great concepts and plots just walking around when I try to put them to paper I break down and blank out....

What is your fav. meal?
What is your fav. colour?
What is your fav. television show?
These are the best questions I can come up with at this time.

I like lobster. (I'm a Boston boy.) I also really dig a good steak or hamburger.
Blue.
Dexter (it's better than the books and--dare I say it--even approaching Sopranos Brilliance)
I also really like Boondocks and watching every Patriots game from this season.

Working on it. I need to work something with my hosting service first.

So when you are doing interviews with other podcasters and other people. Do you ever get this geek out moment, where you go to yourself; I cant believe I'm being interviewed about something I just came up with, and you proceed to get a little giddy?
